January is often considered the bleakest month of the year, but from today Smile For London is setting out to cheer up commuters with it's 2-week exhibition, Word In Motion.
Selfridges have re-launched their Bright Young Things campaign, flying the British flag for extraordinary young designers.
Beginning on 6th January until the end of February, Selfridges will be showcasing 15 gifted designers from creative backgrounds spanning from fashion, food, art and design, on their window displays of the Oxford Street and Duke Street stores.
Until March 1, the Selfridges Ultralounge will be stacked with books, typewriters and games of Scrabble. The transformation comes as part of the store’s initiative to prise people away from their (dare-we-say-it) iPhones, blackberries and other gadgets (yes, sadly, this probably includes the iPad).
