Diamonds are a girl's best friend. If that girl happens to be the Queen, well then they are pretty much her closest relation. And it goes without saying that any anniversary of her's will be accompanied by diamonds of the highest clarity and brilliance. Let alone her Diamond Jubilee.

Jeweller De Beers has had a busy schedule during this historic anniversary. A luminesecent Talisman crown featuring 974 diamonds was displayed in Harrods. It made a special appearance Thursday at The Penthouse in Harrods for a special event with Ruinart Champagne. A majestic collection of De Beers Aura jewellery - solitaire diamonds nested in thread pave frames, fancy-coloured necklaces and delicate rings - was displayed alongside the crown.
